Rabat Embroidery Chart / RchmatTarz Rbati "Moroccan Embroidery"

Image
FLAP EMBROIDERY Moroccan rbati embroidery (Rabat embroidery) is different and has evolved over the past few  years, making it possible to distinguish between so-called Old Rabat embroidery and modern  embroidery.  The oldest is represented by several compositions with in particular human silhouettes, widely used from the 18th century and somewhat abandoned towards the end of the 19th century. The monochromy is massive with old gold yellow, dark red or dark blue colors.  Other compositions represent crooks and spirals which decorate, in history, the corners of capitals. The style has a more airy monochrome with 2 or 3 tones maximum. Finally, we find the compositions made on the basis of abundant plant motifs with a rich polychromy.  This type of ancestral embroidery from Rabat has evolved into a more modern style of embroidery.  Then take over the plant decorations which will no longer be applied only to decorative ornaments but also to clothing with a polychromy reproducing the element

Once the length of the garment has been defined, or the laundry...mark the fold of the hem. Fold the fabric back on itself, secure the folded value with a few pins.                                                                         Hold the
